Same issue it got really gummy .and if used in the rain the gun would turn from black to a milky gray . I used a scotch bite pad and rubbing alchol to remove the dura touch . Like.

My suggestion would be to visit the browning site . 1st you should be able to find the date of manufacture and perhaps determine a model . 2nd you can download the manual .read it cover to cover .from there you should be able to disassemble the gun and diagnose the problem .

My buddies had a problem cycling at first but he just left the grease from the factory in it and started shooting it.
