Based on all of the factors, I'd say Harvard is probably the best option. It seems like of the two schools, NYU is really only an option because of cost. While that's not insignificant, at a cost of only ~10k a year for Harvard, it's not a big enough commitment to totally justify a choice hinging on money. Harvard.
